Every day we look around and have the opportunity to gaze at this beautiful world around us.  While these views are amazing to behold, there are elements found when we take a moment to pause, examine, deconstruct and really look at what we see.

Many only see beauty when they remove themselves from their normal surroundings and go in search of something different.  In our everyday lives we pass on moments that are compelling and beautiful. While we are always looking around us we rarely ever see – visions during any day that pass in an instant and are lost forever.

I like to create simple, minimal images that can invite the viewer in, open the door to their imagination and see where it takes them.  Life, work, even relaxing can be a bundle of chaos.  In my art I filter down to the basics, the essentials.

My job is not to capture what is quickly visible to the casual observer.  The camera is an extension of my mind’s eye to capture the experience of the moment.
